Anson Chan met representatives of civil service groups

Anson Chan, candidate for the Legislative Council Hong Kong Island by-election, met over twenty representatives of the Hong Kong Federation of Civil Service Unions on the evening before last. Mrs Chan exchanged views with the representatives on issues of concern to civil servants including the contract system, 3+3, outsourcing and morale of the civil service.

The meeting was conducted in a friendly and harmonious atmosphere and lasted almost an hour. Mrs Chan told the civil servant representatives that if she was elected into the legislature, she would concern herself with civil service matters and be their voice both inside and outside the Legislative Council.
